Postal-place testing - limited source coverage

Spain Address Generator

Spanish test addresses from a filtered postal-place subset. The source municipality code must agree with the postal code's provincial prefix before a row is available to the generator.

GeoNames postal-place sample with a synthetic street. Limited source coverage; not delivery-verified.

Spain Address Format

Spanish postal codes contain five digits. The street name and building number form the first line, followed by postal code and locality. The province may appear on a separate line. An autonomous community is a broader administrative level and should not replace the province in that address block.

Rows without a five-digit source municipality code, or with conflicting municipality and postal province prefixes, are excluded. This removes known inconsistent relationships but does not make the remaining source a complete current municipal directory. The tool does not redistribute the commercial Correos database or claim to cover every Spanish municipality, island settlement or street.

Counts describe this imported subset, not a national completeness percentage. A locality label may occur in more than one source group. Exact duplicates are removed; unsupported or inconsistent records are omitted, not repaired with guessed geography.

Spain Form-Testing Cases

Spanish forms need to preserve accents, multiword localities and postal codes with leading zeroes. A province field and an autonomous-community field represent different choices. These records are suitable for checking that a filtered locality stays with its source postcode, not for calculating legal boundaries or shipping prices.

Generated records are for development, QA and demonstrations. They must not be used for mail delivery, identity checks, account verification or proof of residence. A synthetic result can coincidentally resemble an existing address; it is not guaranteed to be nonexistent.

Data and Attribution

Postal-place relationships are retained from individual source rows, without mixing localities and codes independently. Coordinates, population figures and unrelated gazetteer fields are not included in the browser data.

Spain Address FAQ

Does a valid five-digit pattern prove that a Spanish address exists?

No. The pattern only describes the postal-code field. This dataset adds a source locality relationship, but the street remains synthetic and the full result has not been verified by Correos.
