City-only test records - postcode omitted
Philippines Address Generator
Philippines city/locality test addresses from a populated-place source. Postal codes are deliberately omitted while the source's postal coverage and the transition between code systems remain unresolved.
City-only test address. Postal code is intentionally omitted; this is not a complete mailing address.
Philippines Address Format
The UPU Philippines guide describes a four-digit postal field, while PHLPost has also announced ZIP Code PH work. This generator does not claim to implement the new system or convert between systems. It supplies a synthetic street, source locality and source region, leaving the postal-code field empty.
250 Test Street Al-Barka Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao PHILIPPINES
Synthetic format example, not a delivery address. Postal information is missing intentionally.
UPU Philippines addressing reference. This reference documents postal layouts, not the validity of generated addresses.
PHLPost's 2024 ZIP Code PH announcement describes the newer alphanumeric system; this tool does not invent a conversion from older codes.
Philippines Source Coverage
- Retained source rows
- 1,329
- Locality labels by area
- 1,329
- Covered source groups
- 17
The imported geography comes from GeoNames populated places, not its unverified Philippines postal export. It does not assert a complete current PSA municipality or barangay registry. Regional source names can lag administrative changes. A result is therefore a locality-based test record, not an official postal-address match.
Included source region groups
- Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao: 55 source rows
- Bicol Region: 86 source rows
- Cagayan Valley: 58 source rows
- Calabarzon: 174 source rows
- Caraga: 43 source rows
- Central Luzon: 172 source rows
- Central Visayas: 99 source rows
- Cordillera: 18 source rows
- Davao Region: 70 source rows
- Eastern Visayas: 55 source rows
- Ilocos: 73 source rows
- Mimaropa: 47 source rows
- National Capital Region: 32 source rows
- Northern Mindanao: 84 source rows
- Soccsksargen: 75 source rows
- Western Visayas: 141 source rows
- Zamboanga Peninsula: 47 source rows
Counts describe this imported subset, not a national completeness percentage. A locality label may occur in more than one source group. Exact duplicates are removed; unsupported or inconsistent records are omitted, not repaired with guessed geography.
Philippines Form-Testing Cases
Philippines fixtures can test multiword locality labels, Unicode text, region filtering and incomplete-address states. They cannot prove that a four-digit code or a newer code is assigned to a selected barangay. A production checkout that requires postal information should reject the missing field or request a real customer-supplied value.
Generated records are for development, QA and demonstrations. They must not be used for mail delivery, identity checks, account verification or proof of residence. A synthetic result can coincidentally resemble an existing address; it is not guaranteed to be nonexistent.
Data and Attribution
Geographic data: GeoNames populated-place extract, reused under CC BY 4.0. Downloaded 2026-09-05. The source provides no guarantee of accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
The cities5000 source includes selected populated places and administrative seats. Region names are joined from GeoNames admin1CodesASCII; this is not a postal directory. Coordinates, population figures and unrelated gazetteer fields are not included in the browser data.
Philippines Address FAQ
Does this tool support the newer ZIP Code PH system?
No. It neither invents new codes nor silently treats old GeoNames codes as current official assignments. This release exposes its city-only scope until an appropriate reusable postal relationship is available.
