Postal-place testing - limited source coverage
Peru Address Generator
Peruvian test records retaining source places and five-digit postcodes. Many source labels are small settlements, so the tool avoids calling every available place a city.
GeoNames postal-place sample with a synthetic street. Limited source coverage; not delivery-verified.
Peru Address Format
The UPU Peru guide places the five-digit postal code after street and sublocality information. This test layout uses a synthetic street, source locality, postcode and source department. It does not add Lima-style district names to unrelated rural places or convert a postal code into an administrative identifier.
Calle de Prueba 250 Abusque 01405 Amazonas PERU
Synthetic format example, not a delivery address. The street or box line is generated test data.
UPU Peru addressing reference. This reference documents postal layouts, not the validity of generated addresses.

The large GeoNames Peru extract contains many localities sharing postal codes. Its row count is not the number of distinct postal delivery areas or incorporated cities. Geographic labels and administrative context may be incomplete or dated. No real house, road assignment or verified recipient is included in the browser dataset.

Counts describe this imported subset, not a national completeness percentage. A locality label may occur in more than one source group. Exact duplicates are removed; unsupported or inconsistent records are omitted, not repaired with guessed geography.
Peru Form-Testing Cases
Peruvian fixtures can exercise long settlement labels, parentheses, accents and leading-zero postal codes. When importing them into a database, keep locality text separate from administrative codes. A random postal-place record is useful for validating the shape of a form, not for certifying a current shipping destination.
Generated records are for development, QA and demonstrations. They must not be used for mail delivery, identity checks, account verification or proof of residence. A synthetic result can coincidentally resemble an existing address; it is not guaranteed to be nonexistent.
Data and Attribution
Geographic data: GeoNames PE postal export, reused under CC BY 4.0. Downloaded 2026-09-05. The source provides no guarantee of accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
Postal-place relationships are retained from individual source rows, without mixing localities and codes independently. Coordinates, population figures and unrelated gazetteer fields are not included in the browser data.
Peru Address FAQ
Why does a locality look like a small settlement rather than a major city?
The source covers postal places of different sizes. The generator preserves the supplied label instead of replacing it with an unsupported nearby city name.
