City-only test records - postcode omitted
Nigeria Address Generator
Nigerian locality-based test records with source state or FCT context. Postal codes are intentionally omitted rather than guessed from a city or a state's name.
City-only test address. Postal code is intentionally omitted; this is not a complete mailing address.
Nigeria Address Format
The UPU Nigeria guide describes a six-digit postcode beside locality information. This generator does not have an appropriate postal-area relationship for its populated-place source. It produces a synthetic road and locality/state block with an empty postal field, not a complete six-digit Nigerian mailing address.
250 Test Road Aba Abia State NIGERIA
Synthetic format example, not a delivery address. Postal information is missing intentionally.
UPU Nigeria addressing reference. This reference documents postal layouts, not the validity of generated addresses.
Nigeria Source Coverage

The source contains selected populated places and administrative seats. It is not a NIPOST postal directory or a current complete local-government-area registry. A shared city name or a known state capital cannot establish the postal code of an invented street. No P.M.B. or P.O. Box is assigned.

Counts describe this imported subset, not a national completeness percentage. A locality label may occur in more than one source group. Exact duplicates are removed; unsupported or inconsistent records are omitted, not repaired with guessed geography.
Nigeria Form-Testing Cases
Nigerian form fixtures can exercise state/FCT selectors, long locality names and missing-postcode states. They should not be used as positive tests of postal routing. Applications that require a postcode must obtain a real input rather than filling a plausible six-digit number behind the user's back.
Generated records are for development, QA and demonstrations. They must not be used for mail delivery, identity checks, account verification or proof of residence. A synthetic result can coincidentally resemble an existing address; it is not guaranteed to be nonexistent.
Data and Attribution
Geographic data: GeoNames populated-place extract, reused under CC BY 4.0. Downloaded 2026-09-05. The source provides no guarantee of accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
The cities5000 source includes selected populated places and administrative seats. Region names are joined from GeoNames admin1CodesASCII; this is not a postal directory. Coordinates, population figures and unrelated gazetteer fields are not included in the browser data.
Nigeria Address FAQ
Why not generate any six-digit Nigerian postcode?
A matching length would only create a syntactic number, not a source-supported locality/postcode relationship. This release keeps the postal field empty and labels the result as city-only.
