Postal-place testing - limited source coverage
Brazil Address Generator
Brazilian test addresses using source localities, states and major-area CEP values. These CEPs come from the standard export and are not claimed to be street-level routing codes.
GeoNames postal-place sample with a synthetic street. Limited source coverage; not delivery-verified.
Brazil Address Format
The Brazilian CEP format contains eight digits with a hyphen after the fifth. The generated block places the synthetic road and number above locality/state, with CEP on its own line. Source state names are written out rather than converting source numeric identifiers into guessed Brazilian postal abbreviations.
Rua de Teste 250 Acrelândia, Acre 69945-000 BRAZIL
Synthetic format example, not a delivery address. The street or box line is generated test data.
UPU Brazil addressing reference. This reference documents postal layouts, not the validity of generated addresses.

GeoNames documents its Brazil download as major postal codes ending in -000. The generator retains those values; it does not invent a street-level suffix or imply that an existing city-wide code identifies the synthetic road. This is not the Correios DNE commercial address directory and does not cover every street or delivery sector.

Counts describe this imported subset, not a national completeness percentage. A locality label may occur in more than one source group. Exact duplicates are removed; unsupported or inconsistent records are omitted, not repaired with guessed geography.
Brazil Form-Testing Cases
Brazilian fixtures are useful for CEP masking, leading zeroes, accents and state-name storage. The hyphen is part of the displayed format but not an extra digit. An application that needs CEP-to-street autocomplete must use a suitable service rather than expecting a major-area testing record to provide a real road.
Generated records are for development, QA and demonstrations. They must not be used for mail delivery, identity checks, account verification or proof of residence. A synthetic result can coincidentally resemble an existing address; it is not guaranteed to be nonexistent.
Data and Attribution
Geographic data: GeoNames BR postal export, reused under CC BY 4.0. Downloaded 2026-09-05. The source provides no guarantee of accuracy, timeliness or completeness.
Postal-place relationships are retained from individual source rows, without mixing localities and codes independently. Coordinates, population figures and unrelated gazetteer fields are not included in the browser data.
Brazil Address FAQ
Why do the generated CEPs end in -000?
That is the documented scope of this GeoNames source. The code is retained honestly as a major-area value rather than replaced with an invented street-level suffix.
